Subtle curves are designed into the seat for comfort, with an optional slim upholstered seat pad providing extra cushioning. Slim armrests provide a resting spot for forearms and UV-stable nylon glides ensure stability for the sled base. Harnessing manufacturing technologies and skills honed over 30+ years, the Swing Collection is crafted in Australia from a continuous piece of stainless steel, delivering a distinctive elegance. The collection can be powder coated, electropolished to produce a highly reflective aesthetic (also durable in coastal environments), or ‘passivated’, which retains a ‘Passiv Matte’ stainless steel look, whilst adding protection against the elements. The Swing Collection comprises the original Swing Chair, the new Swing Lounger and Swing Barstool, all available with and without armrests. These are complemented by the Swing Side Table, Swing Café Table and Swing Dining Table, and the elegant Swing Chaise completes the collection. Like all Tait collections, the Swing Collection is embedded with circularity and sustainability, using recyclable materials, and purpose-designed for refurbishment. Powder coated pieces can be stripped and recoated, and electropolished and passivated pieces can be re-processed to restore their original surface. The Swing Collection is suitable for retail, hospitality, workplace/commercial, education and residential settings, both indoor and outdoor.
