The Correa Chair | Upholstered is a cantilever style inspired by 1920s Bauhaus era innovation. A single continuous piece of metal formed by our Japanese tube bender comprises the frame, and a complex ‘sprung’ tension is enabled through a double cantilever system where seat and backrest flex independently. This design comes with upholstered seat and back pads, which are fixed with concealed weld studs to maintain the seamless, elegant aesthetic. Whilst any approved high-performance fabric or vinyl can be used, the new ‘Pathway’ design from Maharam is the featured fabric for the range. As a softer, more textured, experience, Correa Chair | Upholstered works equally well both indoors and out.
